A CONCERT NOT TO BE MISSED!!
Grammy Award winning pianist and composer PAUL SULLIVAN returns to Jonesport to perform a very special concert on Friday, August 12, 2016.
He will feature his own compositions which depict the natural beauties of Maine as well as some arrangements of beloved songs from “The American Songbook” by composers like Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Hoagy Carmichael, and others.
Paul will also share the stage with two special musical guests, including NOAH CARVER, age 12, resident of Beals, Maine, as singer and pianist. Noah has been blind from birth, but that doesn’t stop him from “seeing” the world as a land full of learning opportunities.
LAURA MAZZA-DIXON, summer resident of Jonesport, well-known for her impressive musical talent is one of Noah’s music teachers. She has performed several times at Peabody Memorial Library’s summer concert series, and she returns this evening to share the stage with Paul and Noah.
This concert is a fund raiser to benefit Music in the Library and will be held at The Community of Christ Church, two buildings from Peabody Memorial Library on Main Street in Jonesport.
